West Tower, Liverpool

West Tower is the flagship development for the Beetham Organisation located on Old Hall Street, Liverpool next to their previous major development the 29 storey Beetham Tower.

West Tower is a 40 storey multi-use build comprises offices on the first five floors with the remaining 25 five floors above containing 127 apartment builds as well as one of the highest eateries in the UK, the five star SkyBar located on the 34th floor.

Eurofloor were employed by the main contractor Carillion National Building to carry out the flooring works to the residential apartments and were chosen based on their experience of installing the specified products successfully on time and within budget on previous projects with Carillion.

The project involved the installation of circa 5,000m² of 18mm solid merbau timber flooring sourced from a renewable approved supplier and installed onto a Durabella acoustic cradle and batten raised floor to the living area and hallway areas of the apartments. Eurofloor also installed 11,000m² of P5 T&G chipboard flooring to the bedroom areas as well as communal areas in readiness for soft floor finishes. Eurofloor also carried out the installation of skirting boards as well as bespoke manufactured stainless steel trims.

Eurofloor carried out the installation works over a 12 month period rising completing a floor a week and utilising a team upto ten specialist fitters, all of whom CSCS health and safety certified and managed by a dedicated experienced Project Manager.

Eurofloor worked extremely closely with Carillion throughout the project and completed the work in line with their project programme enabling them to complete the building ahead of schedule for Beetham.
